ABOUT RON

Born and raised in the heart of Ulster County, Ron Polacco is a true local champion with a lifelong commitment to our community. Ron’s roots in Saugerties run deep. Whether it's the Riozzis’ or Polaccos’, his family has called Saugerties home for generations.

From coaching Pop Warner football and boys’ and girls’ Little League teams to training young athletes at the Gold Shield Boxing Club, Ron has dedicated himself to nurturing the next generation. His passion for service extends beyond the field, as he’s consistently stood up against tax-hiking budgets, fighting for the hardworking families and taxpayers of Ulster County.

Ron holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Management from the College of Saint Rose and an associate’s degree from Ulster County Community College, equipping him with the skills to deliver practical, common-sense solutions.
